BioTravel's CO2 Emissions are over 50% Lower than Other Taxis!
If you have ridden in, or want to ride in one of BioTravel's Eco-Taxis, you will be pleased to know that our carbon emissions, taking into account our sustainably sourced biofuel, are the lowest of the low.
The biggest Carbon offender out of our taxi fleet is our Business Class Jaguar which emits ONLY 104g/km which is the same as a new Prius!
The bulk of our fleet is made up of the Citroen Berlingo which ONLY emits 98g/km making it one of the least poluting cars currently available.
HOWEVER, the star of the show is our Peugeot Bipper which emits only 83.3g/km, making it the most environmentally friendly vehicle currently on the market. To put this in perspective, the next best vehicle for producing low carbon emissions is the Diesel Smart Car, which produces 87g/km.

BioTravel's New Taxi Fleet has Arrived!
If you head down to Newquay Airport, you will now see our brand new fleet of uber efficient vehicles ready to transport you where ever you want to go. We have invested in a range of vehicles, from Citroen Belingo's to Jaguars most effeicient executive saloon. They are all running on our sustainably sourced mix of biodiesel, hence, are still the most eco friendly taxis in Cornwall.

The Most Carbon Friendly Taxi Cornwall Has To Offer:
Our taxi and minibus fleet use Biodiesel which is a renewable fuel produced from processed waste vegetable oil and pure Rapeseed. Biodiesel is virtually Carbon Neutral. All of the Carbon produced in combustion is reabsorbed by the crops. This makes BioTravel the most environmentally friendly taxi and minibus company in Cornwall and probably the U.K.
Taxi and Minibuses Prices:
All of our prices are set by the local council and are on meter rates. We are therefore exactly the same price as all of the other taxi companies in our part of Cornwall.
